You’re watching this video because something is WRONG with your book on Amazon.com. It’s not showing on your author profile. The cover image is missing. Something is wrong.
But how do you fix it?
Well, as with all thing Amazon, there is no one singular answer. Yeah.
Okay, if you are having issues with the book not linking to your author profile (or incorrectly attributed books showing up on your author profile), editorial reviews not showing up, incorrect categories, etc. then you need to submit a ticket to Author Central. If you don’t get have an Author Central account - SET ONE UP! If you self-published with Amazon KDP, sign up with the same email address as you use for KDP. The contact us is waaaayy at the bottom of the homepage, like they don’t want you to reach out.
You’d think with a platform called Author Central that this would be the central, unified source for all answers. It’s not!
Nope, if you self-published via Amazon KDP and have issues with the book price, book preview, cover image, A+ content, description, royalty discrepancies on your monthly reports, etc. then you need to submit a ticket to Amazon KDP Support. YUP! Makes no sense. But yep. Here’s how.
If you aren’t sure which of the two will help you, pick one. You’ll get a message back if you need to submit to the other one. They WILL NOT forward the issue. If they say to submit a ticket somewhere else, copy and paste it there. Yes, it’s more work. But you’re the publisher and your top client (that’s you) has an issue.
Now if you are traditionally published and experiencing issues, you can try via Author Central, but be sure to include your publishing team because they can also push on their end to have any metadata issues corrected.
Okay, now you know where to go to fix things. Good luck! It will get fixed, its just a matter of patience.
