A fertilized egg is not part of a woman’s body. If you have a kidney transplant, you have to take anti-rejection drugs because your body recognizes it as foreign tissue. A fertilized egg is recognized by a woman’s body as foreign tissue to reject. But God built an anti-rejection mechanism into the uterus so the individual’s body can develop.
