"My Blue Eyed Jane" (1930, Jimmie Rodgers, Lulu Belle White). In Jimmie's recording, the backup band is Bob Sawyer's jazz band.
Personally, I love that Jimmie Rodgers, hailed widely as the Father of Country Music was forward thinking enough to include jazz bands and players (search Blue Yodel #9 with Louis Armstrong and Lil Hardin Armstrong), jug bands, Hawaiian lap steel players and other instrumentation that is not often associated with country music.
