Pablo waited for two years on an NHS waiting list before deciding to pay for a private diagnosis. Because of his work in schools with autistic children, Pablo already knew a lot about autism and was sure he was autistic. For him, the formal diagnosis was just confirmation, but it helped him to understand himself and fuelled his work making films about autism and creating workshops for autistic children.
