This week, NASA published their 16mm and 35mm slow-motion film scans of the Artemis II launch from April 2026, and I've edited together my favorite shots into this 4K launch video.
Nearly all of the shots in this video were shot on film with only a handful of exceptions. I love the look - it feels like Apollo launch footage of the 1960s with Artemis hardware. It is spectacular and I can't thank the NASA film crew enough.
I mixed some of my favorite shots with the real audio callouts during launch, some sound effects, and music.
