The 2JZ swapped Hellcat is SOOOOO close to coming to life! But, the systems we have yet to complete are some of the big ones. Fitting a Toyota 2JZ engine into the Dodge Hellcat chassis has been fairly straight forward thus far. But there is old saying about not counting chickens before they hatch. So, we are going to keep our focus locked in until this 2JZ swapped Hellcat runs.
I picked up a Mishimoto Carbon Fiber Intercooler in order to cool intake charge temps as much as possible. But, as is with everything else on this 2JZ swapped Hellcat. We have to figure out how to make it fit along with the associated charge piping. Our engine oil cooling is provided from a massive Improved Racing oil cooler. All of which mounts to a custom front crash bar designed specifically for this 2JZ swapped Hellcat. Once wrapping up the fuel system and wiring. The 2JZ swapped Hellcat is ready to fire for the first time. Which, or course, rarely goes as smoothly as it should!
