In this video, I’m sharing my 2026 art studio direction and outlining the intentions shaping my practice as I continue working from a new country.
After relocating from the UAE to Tirana, Albania, I took time away from YouTube to focus on the practical realities of moving abroad, living in short-term rentals, navigating the visa process, and re-establishing daily studio rhythms. This video offers context for that pause.
I introduce projects recently begun for the Deconstruction Home Artist Residency, talk about the role of CES Art Evolution Lab as part of a larger transmedia business developed with my son. I share about my new online shop. I am currently in a stage of my practice where I will need to navigate between concept-driven studio work and creating art that can be sustainably sold.
I also discuss my goals for applying to upcoming art open calls and reflect on how my involvement with the Surface Design Association (SDA) continues to support the growth and structure of my art practice.
