April, 9th 2013, Encouraged by a good friend of mine, I decided to chase my first storm. Instead of letting them chase me, which is what usually happens.
This video was taken in Windthorst,TX with my newly aquired Sony PD-150 camcorder. I've really fallen in love with this camera. It takes excellent video and even better low-light or no light video.
So a lot of firsts going on here. First professional camera and first storm chase. WOO!
Not much came from this storm. The cold front blasted in WAY too fast and just obliterated this storm before it had a chance to do anything. However, it did manage to dump quarter and half-dollar sized hail all over my pickup.
