ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Hi, friends! In this video I demonstrate 5 "American English" sounds.

1. The "dark L" as in help /Ι«/
2. The "a" as in cat /Γ¦/
3. The "ar" as in star /Ι‘ΙΉ/
4. The "or" as in more /Ι”ΙΉ/
5. The "flap t" as in bottle /ΙΎ/

Remember, you don't need to practice these sounds in multiple different words in order to master the sound. Just choose ONE word where the sound occurs and master that word. Once you are able to correctly make the sound in that one word, you'll be able to make the sound correctly in hundreds of other words.

Also, for those of you who REALLY want to improve your pronunciation & reduce your accent, sign up for my free pronunciation guide on my website:

NOTE: I'm currently working on a complete pronunciation course that teaches you how to speak exactly like me! However, it won't be ready till later this year. If you want to be the first to join the course and get an incredible discount, pay attention to my emails. My email subscribers are always the first to know when I have something new to offer. :)

That's it!

Please let me know in the comments if this video was helpful. Also, feel free to give me suggestions for future videos! I have a lot of fun making these videos for you guys, and I plan to make many MANY more :D

Talk soon,
Stefanie
