The MXR Rockman x100 is a faithful recreation of the original Rockman circuit, you can get all sorts of classic 80s tones out of this one, the CLN2 mode (sorry I kept getting it mixed up in the video) with chorus had me filled with nostalgia, especially with the various direct tones I was getting out of the unit and the lead tones with chorus on DIST mode were particularly juicy

It kinda works into an amp on the CLN settings, but where it excels I think is direct to desk or straight into your interface
