If you're wondering why they're a team, see Dhalsim's ending in this video. Apparently what they have in common is a love for curry. Hey, no one ever Capcom had great writers, especially for their fighting games. 😅 Though I did find it amusing how Dhalsim just tunes Shuma-Gorath's warnings out and keeps on yammering.
That said, I primarily play as Dhalsim in this video and am challenged by Dark Sakura in this run. Only the character that you defeat Cyber-Akuma with will have their ending play.
