How do you vocally prepare for performances?
/// I scream my head off for about 10 minutes before a show.
How did you go about pursuing your dream to make music?
/// Just gotta start making music and networking with others to collaborate and do shows with.
What's one of your favorite songs you've ever written?
/// All Or Nothing
What's your favorite album of all time?
/// Impossible to answer
What song from Vitals is your favorite to perform live?
/// Well we perform all of them for the first time tomorrow. So I should probably wait till after then to answer.
Other than music, what influences you creatively?
/// Comedians, movies, faith, doubts, tragedy, redemption, good stories... I don't know this answer could start turning into just saying "everything" really.
Favorite band currently?
/// It's still probably U2
If you could add one more musician to the band, who would you choose?
/// I don't know... I want a gospel choir actually.
Have you guys ever thought about a full instrumental album?
/// Of course.
What song would you say epitomizes Vitals?
/// For me, Monument.
Where did the reggae influence come from?
/// Probably from me trying to be the Police
Was Radiohead an inspiration on the new record?
/// Not directly, but they are an extremely inspiring band for us overall.

What song on the album surprised you at the response it got after the release?
/// Monument. I was surprised at how many people thought it just wasn't very "us".
How would you describe Vitals in terms of desserts?
/// It's pretty banana splitty to me.

/// Steak.

/// Middle aged tears.

/// I know who they are, but I've never taken the time to listen to their music.

/// Mario C from the Beastie Boys. He would do it on Sabotage and it made me jealous.
Are you looking forward to the new Star Wars?
/// My interest is casual at this point. I'll watch it when it comes to me.
Where do you find the awesome clothes you wear on stage?
/// Thank you, I go to Buffalo Exchange quite a bit. So if you ever sell your clothes there, chances are, I'll wind up wearing it at some point.

/// On vocals, I sometimes go through an AMEX pre into a distressor. And sometimes a focus rite and sometimes direct. Probably most of the time direct actually.
