This is a shot from late last week of a DM&E train blasting through some heavy snow with a flanger. After being let out of school because of inclimate weather, I decided to check the tracks. Seeing nothing on UP, I headed over to the DM&E tracks where to my luck I found a V-plow sitting waiting for a signal. I took about 15 minutes taking pics and talking to the crew, and then got set up waiting for them to come through. After nearly 30 inches of snow, DM&E has brought out the heavy equipment for keeping the line clear, almost 2 months in advance I might add! Normally DM&E doesnt bring out the plows until about mid Feburary! Thanks for watching and please rate and comment!
