Musky Rat-kangaroos are the smallest of all kangaroos. They usually have twins, and as you can see, it is getting crowded in the pouch.
When the babies get to big to be carried around, mum leaves them behind in the nest, which she has built on the ground from leaves.
A few days after I filmed this mother, she showed up with an empty pouch! It will be a few weeks, before the little ones will venture out by themselves.
