I've been lucky enough to try and own many different @ernieballinc MusicMan Stingrays over the years. 🙏
Something I've noticed is that I always gravitate toward the sound of the 2EQ preamp. 🕵️‍♂️
So after placing an order on eBay for this Bosko preamp from Serbia, which they say is a replica of the 1979 original MusicMan Stingray preamp
(they're not sponsoring this video, by the way)
I thought it would be super interesting to compare it with my 2001 Music Man Stingray, which has a 3EQ preamp, and try to find what this magic is all about.
