A couple of years ago, the Singapore Slingers did an Oktoberfest-themed show - the old polka stock arrangements actually have the full compliment of instruments, so why not? Violin, cello, clarinet, banjo... it's all there.
Here's a little something from rehearsal (thanks to Irwin Arnstein who not only is playing tuba here, but also set up the camera, and edited and processed the video).
These old charts are available once again, through Music Publishers of America. No more rooting around in Midwestern basements, when you can buy pristine new copies and mint condition NOS printings.
