This is a lengthy vlog about the last 2 weeks of my life! On January 27th, I was asked to do a hotel gig that required learning a lot of new music. Here’s how I approached it! Interspersed are clips of some of the songs I learned :)

Clarification: it’s worth mentioning that these ~23 new songs were a significant part of my set list, but I also used a number of songs from my usual rep! Songs like “The Way You Look Tonight”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, etc. I would guess that I played 40 songs over the course of 3 hours (with a 15 minute break) so a little over half of that was new material.
