The frustration builds within her as she struggles to find the right notes, tapping away at her keyboard and getting lost in the "almost" of it all, not quite right, it seems to be missing something. She doesn't even notice when the lifeless machine next to her, crafted by her own hooves, begins to sputter out noises. As the synth drowns out the unmistakable signs of consciousness being born, the ticking clock seeming to grow louder and louder, the doll's eyes flicker to life, and it sits upright with a sudden jolt, stunning its creator out of her haze. A brief moment is shared with eyes locked upon each other, before the small robot finds its voice in four simple words, a smile beaming across its metal exterior:

"Hello! I am awake"

So it's been a long time, but I've always wanted to come back and continue making music, maybe this time will be different from the others. This song is the start of a new story I want to tell inspired by events in my own life, kind of recent events to be honest, I feel like I've changed dramatically over the past year, and I want to put that journey into music and share it with you all. Thank you all for still being here so many years later, here's to hoping for many years more
