🪡 Annie and Gavin are back to talk all things Great British Sewing Bee as the competition turns up the volume for Music Week!
In this video, they break down everything that happened in the latest episode, sharing their thoughts on each challenge, what they loved, what caught their attention and, of course, how they would approach the challenges themselves.
🎵 In this episode, they discuss:
🪡 Pattern Challenge:
The sewers pay homage to the original Material Girl as they take on one of the most instantly recognisable designs in pop fashion, creating cone bras inspired by the iconic Jean Paul Gaultier creations made famous by Madonna in the 1990s.
🎤 Transformation Challenge:
Things get collaborative as the sewers are split into two teams of three, with each team challenged to transform bedroom furnishings into outfits for a pop act. Annie and Gavin take a look at how the sewers worked together, their creative choices and how they would have tackled the transformation brief.
🪩 Made-to-Measure:
It's time for DISCO! The sewers are challenged to create outfits inspired by the decadence, glamour and energy of 1970s disco. Annie and Gavin discuss their favourite looks, the approaches taken and what they'd be reaching for if they were behind the sewing machines.
