Welcome to Music Theory Minute, a weekly series meant to give easily digestible music theory tidbits on a regular release schedule. The idea behind this series is that each week, the topic of the month will be explored in increasing depth. This video introduces the idea of tonic and dominant form melodic phrases.

I realize that the length of these videos can be frustrating, especially for topics like this that require more than a minute to explore in any kind of depth, so from now on I'll try to be less strict about the length. Thanks for being patient with me as I figure out how to make a weekly upload schedule work while still having time to work on mainline video content for you guys!
