Welcome to Music Theory Minute, a new weekly series meant to give easily digestible music theory tidbits on a regular release schedule. The idea behind this series is that each week, the topic of the month will be explored in increasing depth. This video introduces the idea that certain notes in a scale or key have a tendency to resolve to other notes in that scale or key. In future episodes I'll be exploring how composers use this to their advantage to write well structured melodies.
