About the poet - Anne Bronte (17 January 1820 -- 28 May 1849) was a British poet and author, and youngest of the three Bronte sisters (Charlotte, Emily & Anne). Afraid her work will be judged if known that she was a woman, her first set of poems was published under the pseudonym, Acton Bell. Anne, often remains overshadowed by her more famous sisters, yet her works like 'The Tenant Of Wildfell Hall' and 'Agnes Grey' are counted among the literary classics.
