Last September, I was given the chance of a lifetime to perform my first music festival overseas. As a musician from Manila, it's a dream of mine for my music to be heard by many people around this beautiful world!
Out of around 500 artists that applied for a slot for Music Matters Asia, I was chosen as one of the representatives of the Philippines (along with fellow delegates Ben & Ben + Kiana Valenciano). However big this opportunity was, everything was to be funded by our small team...
I made special merchandise & arranged a fundraising gig to help us raise money to get us to Singapore. My sincerest thanks to every single one of you who purchased my special SG postcards, stickers, and Can Lah! pins. Thank you to my LNP family & my aunts and uncles who donated to the cause!
Thank you to Reese Kids + the bands who played at my fundraiser! Jensen Gomez, I Belong To The Zoo, Tom's Story, Autotelic, Milesexperience). You guys are the best!
Thank you to my band (Josh Villena, Gabba Santiago, Argee Guerrero) for being such an amazingly talented and super fun bunch to be around. Our nightly hunt for the best food will never be forgotten!
Lastly, thank you to my managers (Jmi Salcedo and Jason Conanan) for always looking out for me. We did it!
I had a blast putting this vlog together and I want to do more in the future! Here's a little look at our unforgettable adventure.
