The lo-fi ant, sitcom simulator prototype that convinced Electronic Arts to, God knows how!, raise the billion-dollar thumbs up to an embryonic The Sims 1 dream from Maxis... or, at least, its craziest Will Wright party.
SimAntics is a CISC bytecode language which powers the objects in The Sims 1 and The Sims Online.
Development of SimAntics was coordinated by Jamie Doornbos with the help of Patrick J. Barrett III and Don Hopkins.
