MOON SCARAB | MUSIC AND COLOR IN THE MAJOR ARCANA @moonscarab | Uploaded January 2024 | Updated October 2024, 8 hours ago.
On this video we will talk about the correspondence of color and music with tarot and its combined history from ancient Greece through the Golden Dawn to today's version of B.O.T.A. We will also see and hear these correspondences of color and sound of all 22 cards of the Major Arcana CARDS.
Colors as well as sound carry vibrations and energy. Tarot has a close connection to color and sound by association of each of the Major Arcana cards with a specific musical chord and chromaticity. These provide layers of symbolism, harmony and vibration to the meanings of the cards.
The Books referenced in this video are:
The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages by Paul Foster Case
Marcotone The Science of Tone-Color Hardcover by Edward Maryon
Fundamentals of Music: Anicius Manlius Severinus Boethius
App: Find The Note Pitch Detector by White Bread Games
