Mushfam Limited is redefining sustainable food production through circular innovation with support from the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC) through GIZ’s Green Business Competition Programme for MSMEs.
Through this incubation programme, Mushfam received critical business development training, mentorship, and financial grant support to scale their unique circular economy model. The business repurposes local agricultural waste to cultivate premium organic mushrooms supplying restaurants, eateries, and wholesale distributors, while transforming harvests into value-added products like mushroom chips, kebabs, and flour.
This documentary highlights how Mushfam is returning production waste back to the earth as organic manure for vegetable farming, all while creating local jobs and fueling Ghana’s vibrant green economy.
