If Muse performed "Now and Then", by The Beatles.

Based on these Muse songs:

Supremacy and The Globalist (for the intro)
Sing for absolution (Verse rhythm)
Citizen Erased (Verse guitar)
Space Dementia (Chorus and solo rhythm section)

Tremolo solos like "Blackout" served as inspiration as well, and since Muse usually slip in classical pieces into their tracks, I thought I should do the same.

The 2nd part of the guitar solo has a melody from Rachmaninoff's "Vocalise".

You may also be able to hear at the end of the instrumental section, a tapping guitar part based on kill or be killed that I forgot to turn up in the mix.

The strings at the end of the song also play a bit of Rach Piano Concerto No. 2 1st movement theme.
