Here is a much better version of the MURPHY'S LAW main title than the one I uploaded many years ago (and that looked like crap). Mike Post composed the original, much more somber, sentimental instrumental theme, which was wonderful... but tonally wrong for what the series became,. It was replaced by a pre-existing song by Al Jarreau, who who'd just scored a big hit with the theme for MOONLIGHTING, another ABC show at the time. The song was tweaked and re-recorded for the series. MURPHY'S LAW was my first staff job as a writer (I co-wrote six of the 13 episodes) so it's very close to my heart.
