Number 10 in our Design and Engineering with FRPs series, but the first video posted from that series. This video is a short and to the point description of the PLOP Method of creating multiple complex parts from a single plug or pattern. PLOP standing for Parting Line Opposite Projection. In the video I use animations and reference video from the Arete supercar project to show how this method of production can be used to produce accurate composite parts on a budget.
