There's quite a long story behind this video.
I've first listened to this song thanks to a Fitzsimmons video, then started to listen to it repeatedly and I was scrolling the comments under a lyrics video of this song, when I read one of them. It was something like "I feel like the moon could be singing this song to the earth."
I was so inspired by this interpretation! It really feels like this song talks about life and wonder for the universe. And I think by now you know that I'm obsessed with Simmons' speeches about universe, science and so on.
So I decided to make a video about life, the ups and downs we daily experience. It's been a good year, yes, but some people I knew died. One of them, in particular, out of the blue, which made me so sad, shocked and angry. I still don't understand. That day, I remember I rewatched the thermodynamics scene. I love this interpretation of death, that we don't simply disappear, we leave something behind, life goes on even if we're not still on Earth, somehow. And I'm not just talking about particles which become something else, I'm talking about memories, feelings, things that we do and affect other people even when we're gone. I think it's beautiful and we should cherish this.
However sad you are because something's ended, everything begins again, as Twelve says. You fall in love again, you'll find something good in this world, again, one day grief will be replaced by relief in remembering someone who's gone.
Humans have so many flaws, but we have imagination, we create things with our minds and isn't that wonderful? That's what I tried to highlight here.
If the sun isn't there with you, invent it and if it's dark, close your eyes and try and remember what light is like.
