Yay, my entry for TYS is done! I was already afraid that I won't manage to finish it in time but et voila! I DID.

So, my symbol is the mirror - but with more focus on the broken mirror. I read a lot - really A LOT LOT - about the meanings of a broken mirror and what it can symbolize. I even read some parts of german literature for it, can you believe.
I also found a lot during my researches about what a broken mirror can symbolize in your dreams and it was so interesting to read. All symbols had basically 3 main meanings:

1) Loss of yourself / Broken Identity (because the mirror is the reflection of your soul and when the mirror is broken, so is your soul)

2) Loss of Someone / Death (it was really interesting to search for scenes for it because I noticed that many shows used the broken mirror to symbolize loss or death)

3) Seperation / Loneliness


I also showed some symbols for the whole mirror:
1) Portal to another dimension
2) REFLECTION OF THE SOUL
3) Revelation of the truth/secrets/lies


I really hope that I succeeded to show them all accurately in my video.
