" There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us. But they are always five. "

" when we're dying or have suffered a catastrophic loss, we all move through five distinct stages of grief. We go into denial because the loss is so unthinkable we can’t imagine it’s true. We become angry with everyone, angry with survivors, angry with ourselves. Then we bargain. We beg. We plead. We offer everything we have, we offer our souls in exchange for just one more day. When the bargaining has failed and the anger is too hard to maintain, we fall into depression, despair, until finally we have to accept that we’ve done everything we can. We let go. We let go and move into acceptance. "


1. Denial: the stage of not accepting and believing that the loved one is gone

2. Anger: We finally realize our loss and are not ready to face the truth. We can't keep our emotions under control anymore and they turn to pure anger and hate against everything.

3. Bargaining: The try to regain control about ourselves. We ask ourselves questions like: 'what if..' and 'if only we..' and sometimes we feel even guilty. That's why we pray to god and making promises we want to keep.

4. Depression: When we think it's all over, there can be only one little thing which triggers our emotions again and we fall into a deep hole of depression. We isolate from everybody and it seems like there is no escape of the sadness anymore.

5. Acceptance: The last and finale stage where we finally accept the fact that our loved one is gone and we try to find back in a normal life again.

Yeah, I worked quite hard on this project and I'm really glad that I finished it! But this video wouldn't be possible, without the help of 3 amazing people. That's why I want to dedicate it to them.
