I hope this collab came as a surprise to you! The day I asked Kasia and Andie if they would like to make this with me, I remember us talking about how you didn't receive a lot of videos for your birthdays. It was the moment I knew I needed to change that!
I cannot express to you often enough how reconnecting with you was probably the best thing that happened in 2024. You are such a light in my life. I love her and I am so glad that I finally managed to make a video about her. Katniss Everdeen is so much more complex than this little video can show and damn one day I am going to do her entire story justice. For now, this is about her and symbolizing hope while she never had any. Katniss Everdeen is proof that you can be brave and yet scared at the same time. And she is also proof that your dark days will always be part of you, but when you fight, better days will come.
Little fun fact: I started the video on May 8th which is Katniss birthday. Funnily enough, I only found out about it after I was halfway through the video. I managed to finish it hours ago (literally hours ago, I managed to finish it in the afternoon and then had so much trouble rendering it) so it took me a day to make this which for me is rare lmao.
