It was an absolutely ridiculous grind that took WAY too long, but I finally broke the 60 point curse. It took a whopping 89 official MBLD attempts over a course of more than 3 years since my last world record. In that time, I learned full floating (and a separate letter-pair word list for every floating buffer), full LTCT (and a word for each of the 252 different cases), and got 4 different official attempts that were 1 mistake away from breaking 60+ points and breaking WR.
On that note: this is the first MBLD WR with full floating+LTCT! That was one hell of a grind to learn and get to the point where I'm actually seeing benefits from it.
So happy to finally have gotten past that pesky 60 point barrier, I'm so ready to go bigger and better :)
This is my 5TH multi-blind world record, and I'm one of three people who've ever broken the MBLD WR more than once. I've also held the MBLD WR for more consecutive time than anybody in history, and I just learned that I'm now the first person to ever lose the MBLD WR and then take it back. (Thanks Rowe, for pointing this out! You next!!!)
Thanks to everybody who supported me along the way, and extra special shoutouts to my wonderful girlfriend Serena ( @Sambista_Serena ), and of course my parents, without them this wouldn't have been possible.
