The journey of an artist is through an uneven terrain with self doubt, demotivation and lack of enthusiasm but there is something about touching the brush to do the painting that just changes your whole life. And in a magical trance, you are teleported to another world devoid of anything but happiness. Ultimate bliss. And this is what I experienced when I did this Tanjore painting. I received this commission for a 4 feet by 3 feet Multi God Tanjore Painting last year during Dussehra. This painting is the largest I have ever completed. The enormous size of the board and the complexity of what was in front of me overwhelmed me. With God's grace, despite my travels and classes, I was able to deliver on time.
