It’s more than 40 years since many of the ‘old settlers’ of areas such as Main Arm and Huonbrook first put down roots in the Mullumbimby region, so it’s probably a surprise that last weekend saw their first ever reunion on the banks of the Brunswick River. And Mullum’s original hippies announced the event – and their great social experiment – a success.
