So first of all apologies for being so inactive lately. Due to the entire covid pandemic finding the motivation to sit down and play piano has been tough, but with the recent release of Mulan I thought it was a good time to revisit this beautiful little song.
Also I should note that this version differs significantly from the original as it's based on Kyle Landry's rearrangement. I made a few changes here and there, but you can watch his performance here: youtube.com/watch?v=0ZrHx6JuC_s
Also forgive any mistakes - I've been far too rusty lately. Anyway, in any case I hope you enjoy!

I wasnt sure whether or not to arrange this piece at first. Theres already several excellent transcriptions out there, but I noticed that many of them were fairly difficult for the average beginner. I decided to arrange an easier version more suitable for solo piano and this was the result.
I also made a few changes to the chord progression here and there, so its a fairly liberal arrangement in places. The only difficult part is the rhythm and tempo, but both should be manageable. Theres also a few 10th chords towards the end which can be substituted for octaves instead.

Well, Im back again with more Delta Rune arrangements. This time I received a request to do Scarlet Forest, and seeing as though its one of my favourite tracks from the whole game I decided to arrange this. I extended the outro again because the original cuts off too abruptly, but other than that its a fairly faithful arrangement.
Also as a side note Im thinking of amalgamating all of these arrangements into a piano collections album. Ill probably remaster them and also clean up the sheet music, but Ill see if theres any interest first.

Although this track appears to be a rearrangement of Home at first glance theres a few differences. Theres much less syncopation in this version, and the latter section borrows the motif from A Town Called Hometown and a couple of other tracks.
I decided to write my own outro as the original piece ends too abruptly, but other than that its a fairly faithful arrangement. Hopefully youll enjoy!

And she never wanted to leave...
Most of you probably dont know this, but Ive been a huge fan of both Game of Thrones and Florence + The Machine for years, so when I heard that they performed music for the latest episode I was beyond excited. Florence Welshs vocals matched the setting of this episode so perfectly.
Unfortunately I wasnt able to add the top-down synthesia view this time as I recently had to reinstall windows and lost most of my software in the process. Ill likely be uploading a normal Synthesia tutorial in the next few days though.
Also apologies for the poor lighting, though I decided to throw a few clips together to keep things interesting for a change. Hopefully you enjoy!
