These characters are very old back to the beginning of 2017 when I believe I had a character creation poll even, so they are very outdated.
Red_plember2's palettes is based on his very first version where he only got 6 normal colors. So, half of the colors are copy-paste from that version to some degree while the second half is made up by me.
Fire and Superball is the first two which by today is very ironic for a certain reason. We also have NGPC which where just made for some reason, perhaps it was like I thought it would be a thing back then thanks to Spade Kaboomber, nothing completely bad shall I mention. Evil exist there because he's the man of Evil Mario Bros... very likely so at least. Lastly there is Maker and Hotel which I wouldn't be surprised if I just made them up for him.
John Summers' palettes is just all taken from the version we know about as none of them is really like a GHOST palette, comparing to Super Mario for an example. Pretty straightforward stuff I would say.
By today standard from me, Red_plember2 would look very differently and with John Summers, probably barely changed. I have no plans to update either of them though.
