Hello everyone, here with another AI patch, this time for Donald Duck by Warner and Lord Enemil!
Despite what it looks like on the surface, this version of Donald is not the same one that several others have patched a while back; this one is an updated version primarily made by Lord Enemil that was released not too far back. I thought it was unique enough from the original to give it my own AI patch.
Gameplay wise, Donald is a very weird character, a lot of normals have unique characteristics about them and a lot them, especially his heavy aerials, give him a lot of forward momentum. If I were to describe his playstyle, he sort of has a odd blend of zoner and rushdown in him, having a lot of tools to keep opponents out but strong options up close that can allow him to deal a lot of damage and even an infinte, though setting it up can be difficult depending on the matchup.
Donald's primary weakness is the startup of his moves, a lot of them have length wind-up time which makes a lot of otherwise decent moves into ones he rather avoid using if given the option.
Overall, Donald is very much a force to be reckoned with when he's able to play to his fullest.
