This track is the first in a series of original compositions that I'm working on to try and show a few of the different styles I can compose in. Written as a forest theme, this piece is very loosely based on the short middle section of Gary Jules' version of 'Mad World' by Tears for Fears. I've also taken influence from the soundtracks of Seiken Densetsu, Final Fantasy: Tactics, and Bravely Default. This also happens to be the first track I've composed using some of my newer software and equipment, and I'm very pleased with the finished result. I'm also very grateful to Krisedge, an absolutely fantastic and underrated artist who has let me use his work as the art for this track.
