Hey everyone! In this video I’m feeding my two Mudpuppies (Necturus maculosus). Their main diet consists of earthworms, but I also offer smelts and crickets from time to time.
Mudpuppies are fascinating fully aquatic salamanders, and most of the day mine hide and relax in their caves. Once the lights go off, they become more active and start exploring the tank, often looking for shrimp to hunt.
