A common sight while exploring Kansas City history is the strange old buildings around every corner that look haphazardly built, with land covering one part of the building while being completely open on the other. Interestingly, on closer inspection the original buildings seem perfectly built but old window spaces are haphazardly bricked over which seems like a refurbishment had to have been done well after they had been built. This trait of these old buildings points to a major "mudflood" occurrence in the past that is as covered up as the various buiding's lower stories - which at one point seem to have been the their ground floor. This is one building in an endless stream....
