Understanding distance is one of the most important skills in Muay Thai and striking as a whole.

In this video, renowned instructor, former The Contender Asia competitor and veteran striking coach Sean Wright breaks down a simple but highly effective framework for understanding and controlling range when sparring or fighting.

Sean uses three key pillars:
🥊 Footwork
🥊 Hand controls
🥊 Angles
to help fighters understand how to dictate where exchanges take place and how to stay one step ahead of their opponents.

Rather than focusing on isolated techniques, Sean teaches the underlying principles that help elite fighters consistently control opponents and create opportunities to attack.
