These Gillig Phantoms continue to hang on despite their age. Talked to bus driver, he said these Gilligs along with the D40LFs are only going to be around about six more months. New CNG buses will arrive then. El Cajon Division has CNG facilities in place but just haven't made the connections yet to CNG. Also confirmed ECD will be getting artics, he wasn't sure what they were, but my speculation still is the thirteen D60LFs from Kearny Mesa Division.
There were three Gillig Phantoms running for sometime, but now it is down to two, as one has a blown engine. These are the only high-floor standard buses MTS runs.
HVAC is on in the beginning of the video but is off around 4:15.
