Well here it is my 400th YouTube video, MTS New Flyer D60LF Compilation Video. Finally was able to put it up. This compilation project was a planned 400th video and was a work-in-progress that took more than six months of waiting and determination to capture these buses. With only thirteen D60LFs on MTS fleet, it isn't easy capturing these, and then to get the right shot!?! even more difficult. These video clips are about 1/3 of the shots I had captured, too many just didn't make the cut. Most of the clips were captured June, July and August, but the entire project was March through Sept. 2013.
2001 New Flyer D60LF
Detroit Diesel Series 50EGR
Allison B500R
#1901-1913
Operate out of Kearny Mesa Division
0:10 - 2:35 Downtown San Diego. Favorite shots in this segment 1:23 and 2:19.
2:43 - 3:53 Clairemont.
4:01 - 5:46 North Park.
5:55 - 8:10 Mira Mesa. At 5:55 and 6:15 that's my bus stop going to work on 20 north.
8:20 - 9:52 Rancho Penasquitos (PQ), and Carmel Mtn. 8:40 my favorite shot in the video.
10:01 - 12:18 Balboa Park on Park Blvd.
12:26 - 14:24 University Town Center (UTC) in the "Golden Triangle".
14:32 - 17:54 City Heights. That is a doubled up Rt 7 at 14:33, a common occurrence as buses are scheduled just six minutes apart during peak hours and 10-12 minutes during the day. Love the sound of #1904 at 15:24. Encanto Tower at 17:45.
18:04 - 19:19 La Jolla UCSD.
19:28 - 20:20 La Mesa. While the first two clips may not be true La Mesa it is close, 20:02 is true La Mesa.
20:21 Captured the elusive #1903, not the best shot, but the capture of #1903 means all thirteen D60LFs are represented in this compilation video.
Thanks for watching my 400th YouTube video. Please like, comment, and sub. More footage of trains and buses coming soon.
