Wasn't speeding and still had to almost stop because a bus is just a bus.
Yes I could swerve to make sure I wasn't going to hit it, but I practice emergency braking at least twice a week and I knew that I could just stop.
My advice to new riders - just keep it slower at intersections. Sometimes, other road users don't care about you.
