We summited Mt Shavano, the southernmost 14er in the Sawatch Range, via the classic Angel of Shavano snow climb route on 6/1/2024. We contemplated going over to neighboring 14er Tabeguache Peak as well, which is only about 1 mile away, but decided against it due to the amount of snow still present on the traverse. We proceeded with an epic, 1000ft glissade down the Angel from top to bottom. Total stats: 8.4 miles with 4,470ft elevation gain
