1979 climb of Blue Glacier with a Mazama group from Portland, Oregon. As much as things change, somethings never change and that is the strenuous nature of this climb. No shortcuts! Gotta put in the miles and same elevation gain. Lighter equipment helps, but one has to be in good physical shape to do this climb. Period!
