Climbing Mt Katahdin via the Knife' Edge at Baxter State Park is one my top three mountains and trails ever hiked. The approach on the Helon Taylor trail up to Pamola Peak was an incredible climb. The Knife's Edge is an epic approach to Baxter Peak. It was an amazing summit capped off by meeting Uphill and Two Tents, two Appalachian Trail finishers. The hike concluded with a down climb Cathedral Trail to Chimney Pond.
