Found at a garage sale around Minneapolis, and digitized/uploaded online by "Arthur Putie", this is the final missing episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000's original KTMA season. This copy was likely made in the mid to late 2000s, during the time when Jim Mallon was digitizing MST3K tapes for use either on DVD releases or for use on the MST3K website (indeed multiple clips from K01-K03 were uploaded there years before they were found). These were likely either personal tapes or were simply made as test transfers and kept by those transfering the tapes. According to Ivan Askwith, the producer of the pre-Rifftrax revival era of MST3K, Shout did not have a copy of K03 in their possession, meaning the high quality original tape was likely either lost or destroyed, with even Ivan believing it was possible it was lost forever. This first gen VHS copy, made during Mallon's ownership, is likely the last copy of this episode in existence.
